Alexis first came to Mary Bridge Childrens after she was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia at three years old. Along with her cancer treatment, Alexis has had multiple surgeries at Mary Bridge Childrens.
Despite the tough journey, Alexis and her family love Mary Bridge Childrens and consider the doctors and staff to be part of their family.
Each year, thousands of children come to Mary Bridge Childrens, thankfully, some of them only come once then they return to normal life.
But there are many children who need care from Mary Bridge Childrens for weeks, for months, and even for years. And through these stories of children and families who spend years at Mary Bridge, you learn what makes Mary Bridge Childrens so special.
