Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

There are approximately over 390,000 people in the UK who are deafblind.

Senses mission is simple to make sure no one with complex disabilities such as deafblindness, is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.

Mazars offices in England and Wales are fundraising for Sense during the Mazars National Charity Week in October, to help raise funds to support people with complex disabilities fulfil their full potential.

Sense is a national disability charity that supports people with complex disabilities to be understood, connected and valued. We are here for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Our flexible and personalised services empower people to communicate and express themselves be it through speech or sign, touch or movement, gesture or sound, art or dance. Together, we connect differently and campaign passionately for the right to lead connected and fulfilled lives.
