This May, we are calling on people to walk, jog or run 31 Miles in May to support Dementia Care in the Mater Hospital. Enjoy the warmer days, the longer evenings and take some time for yourself at your own pace while doing something really special for people with dementia in the Mater.
This challenge is a great opportunity for family members, friends and carers of loved ones with dementia to get out in the fresh air, enjoy some exercise and put a spring in your step for a fantastic cause.
One in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime? Whether that means facing dementia ourselves or caring for a loved one with the condition. That's why it is so important to work together to provide the very best support to those facing this journey in their lives.
Here in the Mater Hospital Foundation, we are committed to being there to support patients in the Hospital.
