UPDATE: We are thrilled to announce we have met and secured our $300,000 match goal! Because of your support and the generosity of our original 15 Match 4 Mission Empower donors who doubled gifts made to the campaign, a total of $600,000 has been raised for our mission of continuing to meet the growing needs in the community.

The exciting news doesn't stop there. Our longtime supporter, Ball Corporation, has rallied around us and has increased the initial $300,000 match by an additional $200,000 for the Match 4 Mission Empower Campaign. Several other loyal donors have stepped up in participating in the match extension and are contributing additional dollars to extend the match campaign to $250,000. That means that every gift made up to $250,000 will be doubled. The total match campaign could raise more than $1,000,000! While our goal is ambitious, it's critical. The work we are doing to serve our neighbors in need is more than a sprint - it's a marathon. The only way we can continue to meet the growing needs is with your support. A Precious Child is a 501(c)(3) Colorado nonprofit that empowers children and families in need. Last year alone, we provided opportunities and resources valued at $15 million to more than 57,000 underprivileged children and 7,000 adult caregivers. As a designated essential organization, our team is rising up to an unparalleled challenge during the coronavirus pandemic.

We are on the frontlines, providing emergency essentials, such as hygiene items, cleaning supplies, diapers and wipes, clothing and other basic needs. These resources are vital to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and provide much needed relief to our most vulnerable population.

We are facing two big challenges: (1) Loss of major funding from the cancellation and postponement of signature fundraising events; (2) An increase in demand from families throughout the Denver metro area in need of our services.
