Maine Adaptive is celebrating 40 years of offering quality adaptive recreation throughout Maine to individuals with differing abilities regardless of their ability to pay. Through the years, our programs have grown from alpine skiing to so much more.

We meet our many participants where they are at and work together with our dedicated volunteers to make recreational experiences a reality. We are embrace "challenge by choice" and create spaces where learning, socialization, and independence abounds.
As one of our participants shares: "Going to a Maine Adaptive program day is more then just going out for a snowshoe or a ski-day! It is a chance to meet new people, catch-up with old friends, and explore the outdoors! The opportunity to get outside with Maine Adaptive makes my winter very special".
Through the support of individuals, foundations, companies along with a collection of venue partners we have been able to do what for 40 years and all four seasons.
