Alhamdulillah, with the blessings of Allah (SWT) and the generosity of our community, we have been able to purchase the old Tinsley Methodist Church and it is now Masjid Abu Bakr.

We have taken approximately £300k in Islamic loans for the purchase of this property of which we have around £250k left to pay.

This new building will allow us to expand our services and programs to better serve our community.

It will provide a larger space for our congregational prayers, Quran classes, and Islamic education programs for our children and youth. Additionally, it will enable us to offer more community events and activities, such as lectures, workshops, and interfaith outreach.

We would appreciate any contributions towards the re-paying of this loan.
