Weve been providing care and support to families where a baby, child or young person has a life-limiting condition, across West, North and East Yorkshire, for 32 years. Through our work at our hospice in Boston Spa, and in the community, we help families to live their lives to the fullest knowing that they have the help of Martin House. Families often describe the hospice care we provide as a lifeline.

COVID-19 has affected the lives of people worldwide, and our hospice is no different. Our charity shops have had to shut and our fundraising events have either been postponed or cancelled. This leaves us with a huge income gap to fill.

In terms of our care, we are still able to provide emergency symptom control for those who need it, and for babies, children and young people who sadly need end of life care at this time, we are able to provide this. We have, however, had to cancel our planned respite stays for families for the time being, to ensure the safety of families and staff.

Please help us to keep caring. Every little really does count and makes a huge difference to those families who need us.
