Beautiful Maria has waited so patiently for this moment. After spending so much of her life dreaming of a family to call her own, she has finally found her forever home in the UK. This fundraiser is to help cover her flight and pet taxi costs, so she can make the journey from Bahrain to the loving family who can't wait to welcome her home.

🌟 Maria's Story

Maria's life began with heartbreak.

As a tiny kitten, she was abandoned and left to fend for herself on the unforgiving streets of Bahrain. Alone and vulnerable, she was suffering from severe ringworm and a painful eye infection that threatened her sight. At such a young age, her future looked incredibly uncertain.

Thankfully, a kind-hearted rescuer refused to let her story end there.

Maria was taken to safety, where she received the veterinary care, treatment, and love she so desperately needed. Slowly, the frightened little kitten began to heal. Her health returned, her confidence blossomed, and the little cat who had once been fighting simply to survive transformed into a happy, healthy young girl full of love.

Despite everything she endured, Maria has never stopped trusting people.

She is playful, affectionate, and endlessly loving. She adores cuddles, enjoys spending time with both humans and other cats, and has a wonderfully gentle nature that makes everyone fall in love with her. Whether she's chasing toys, watching the world from the window, or curling up beside you for a snuggle, Maria is simply happiest being part of a family.

For so long, Maria watched other rescue cats leave for their forever homes while she patiently waited for someone to choose her.

Now, that day has finally arrived.

A loving family in the UK is waiting to welcome Maria into the home she has never had. After everything she's overcome, she is finally about to experience what every rescue cat deserves — warmth, security, unconditional love, and a place where she will never be abandoned again.

Now we just need to get her there.

As a small volunteer-run charity, we rely entirely on donations to fund the flights and pet taxi journeys that reunite rescued cats with their forever families. Without your support, we simply can't book Maria's place on the flight.
