The Marathon Broadcast Challenge is Coming Atcha!

Forever Manchester has teamed up with local community radio station ALL ‘FM’ to undertake a Marathon Radio Broadcast Challenge.

The marathon broadcast will event aims to highlight the role and importance of local community radio while raising funds to support ALL FM and the valuable work of local groups and community activities supported by Forever Manchester.

The Marathon Broadcast Challenge will take place across the weekend of 12th/13th October.

Donors Prize Draw

As a way of showing our appreciation all donors showing their support will be entered into hourly free prize draws throughout the challenge with opportunities to win anything from His & Hers Hoodies through to Fish & Chip Suppers, Crazy Golf experiences, bespoke T-Shirts and Tea-Towels through to Meals, Gig Tickets, limited edition Books, Prints and Posters and lot's more.

The marathon broadcast will be a volunteer squad of 4 All FM presenters including Breakfast presenter Alan, Rahim from the Persian Seda show, Ruth from the Sunday Tea Time show and Sadia from the Culture Mix show who will be joined by Terry from Forever Manchester to collectively deliver 26.2hrs of continuous radio as one big flowing show.

In addition, the marathon broadcast team will be joined by Terry's colleague Kev Duxbury from Forever Consulting who will attempt to complete a full marathon in tandem with the broadcast by running an entire marathon. That's 1 mile every hour for 26.2 hours.

All income generated from the marathon broadcast effort will be split between supporting the brilliant work of both Forever Manchester and ALL FM.
