Story
This challenge is about more than football.
Someone close to us has been through testicular cancer, a diagnosis that comes out of nowhere and turns life upside down in an instant. Watching someone we care about face that journey brought home just how real, frightening, and life-changing cancer can be, especially for young men who often don’t talk about their health.
Testicular cancer is one of the most common cancers in young men, yet when caught early it is highly treatable. Awareness, early detection, and support can genuinely save lives, but too many men still don’t check themselves, don’t recognise the signs, or don’t speak up when something doesn’t feel right.
That’s why we’re taking on a 24-hour football challenge, pushing our bodies to the limit to raise funds and awareness for Baggy Trousers UK, a charity that does incredible work educating people about testicular cancer and supporting those directly affected by it.
Throughout the 24 hours we’ll be running on little sleep, sore legs, and sheer determination, but it’s nothing compared to what people face during diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Every minute on the pitch is for those who’ve heard the words “you have cancer”, those currently fighting it, and those who need support long after treatment ends.
By donating, you’re helping:
Fund life-saving awareness campaigns
Encourage early detection through education
Provide direct support to those directly affected by testicular cancer
If our challenge encourages even one person to check themselves, seek help earlier, or feel less alone, it will be worth every step.
Thank you for your support. It truly makes a difference. 💙
