Every month IAPWA sees many dogs and puppies come through our doors suffering with severe mange, a painful skin disease which if left untreated can lead to a host of health problems. We must take action.

Mange is a nasty disease which causes intense itching, hair loss and open wounds and sores across a dog's body as seen in the photo of little Snowie (above). Treatment for one dog or puppy can take weeks and sometimes even months of treatment to cure. Without our intervention, many of these innocent animals would go on to suffer for a long time on the streets and could even develop life-threatening infections or have maggots start eating away at their wounds. It's heartbreaking to imagine.
