Visit the charity's profileIn October 2019, when our deployment team visited Malawi and we was shocked by the sheer mass scale of the poverty that was witnessed. Families were living in mud built & straw roofed homes, (which often leak and are damaged during the heavy rain season), people were walking miles to get clean water, children were visibly malnourished with often no footwear and lack of clothes. homes had very few if any food items.
Our vision is to transform the lives of the Malawian people so they can achieve self sufficiency. We will work village by village to transform the weak mud built houses with straw roofs in to strong brick houses, plastered walls with iron roofing. We aim to change the whole appearance of villages.
