Story
Alhamdulillah the blessed month of Ramadhaan is upon us once again by the grace and bounty of Allaah, may He be exalted. This is the month of fasting, the month of Quran and also the month of giving in charity, just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do.
It was narrated that Ibn Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he was at his most generous during Ramadhaan, when Jibreel met him. Jibreel used to meet with him every night and teach him the Quraan. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds). (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6; Muslim, 2308).
This Ramadhaan Makki Masjid is giving you the perfect opportunity to donate towards a charitable cause and is appealing for your urgent help and support towards its building project to raise £149,000 which will go towards having a watertight structure, InshaaAllaah. More specifically, the funds will go towards the installation and completion of:
- The roof of the new building
- The large central dome
- The external doors and windows
- The ghusl room
- The half dome that will sit above the mihrab
We urge all our brothers and sisters to step forward and grasp this opportunity with two hands and to donate generously, especially in Ramadhaan where deeds are multiplied many times over, in the way of Allaah using the wealth that He has blessed you with.
Who is he that will lend to Allaah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allaah that decreases or increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return. (Al-Baqarah, 245)
We pray that Allaah accepts your donations as a sadaqah jaariyah and rewards you with a handsome reward for every amount you donate, Aameen.
Remember to share this page with family and friends, for every penny they donate you will also have a share of the reward Inshaa'Allaah.
