Losing the support of a parent early on in your adulthood, and having to take on unexpected responsibilities, can be extremely daunting and can negatively impact life progression. Our Trustee team is includes people who have dealt with bereavement between the age of 18 and 26 and experienced inadequate support. Making Mum Proud wants to ensure that no young adult has to give up on their personal dreams and life goals following the loss of a parent or guardian. We are raising this money to provide support to Brunel University students and facilitate access or continued access to the opportunities that come with pursuing further education.
