Story
We may be doing things differently, but you can still Make it Crisis this Christmas!
How do you celebrate Christmas? Making cards? Baking festive treats? A Christmas karaoke night? This Christmas may look different to last years, but however you spend it, you can still support Crisis.
Fundraise with your household or support bubble, or cast your net wider by getting your school, community group, colleagues, family or friends together online to help people take the first steps out of homelessness over the festive period.
Online or off, every £28.22 you raise could give someone the support and companionship of a Crisis Christmas, with the chance to end their homelessness for good through our year-round services.
Whether you already have an event you like to hold and need to adapt it for this Christmas, or need tips on organising something new, with Make it Crisis this Christmas you'll have everything you need to make your event a success.

"My coaches at Crisis have been absolute angels" - Kate's story
After losing her mum to cancer, Kate struggled terribly with grief.
If you can't get the help you need, you try and escape what's going on inside you. I went to a really bad place. I was sofa surfing for months, which made me feel really anxious and depressed. There was a lot of worrying about what the next day would bring.
After coming to Crisis, Kate got the help she needed, found a flat of her own and received support to train as an illustrator.
My coaches at Crisis have been absolute angels. They've helped me find a council flat and they're helping me to apply for a grant scheme so I can train to be an illustrator. I've gone back to the old Kate that I used to be, the sporty one, the healthy one. I'm looking forward to the new year and I'm so excited for the future.
(Kate's story reflects a real member's experience, but her name and photo have been changed to protect her identity.)
