Story

Make Christmas Count for people released from Immigration Detention!

Every December, Samphire seeks to provide some additional support for people who have experienced indefinite immigration detention and their families. For people who have experienced immigration detention, Christmas is a time when they can feel more marginalised and isolated than ever.

People receiving asylum support, or those without any support, cannot afford to travel to visit children, friends or family.

Like each year, we would like to raise £1000 which will allow us to provide money for a small gift for children and to provide low-cost travel for ex-detainees to visit family and friends over the festive period.

Your generosity will bring families together and make Christmas special. Last year, thanks to your donations, we made Christmas brighter for nearly 40 individuals. Let's do it again!

By donating to this appeal we can provide money that will make a difference at this time.

£10 will buy a top up to call home.

£10 will allow a family to buy a small gift for a child.

£20 will pay travel costs for an ex-detainee to family & Friends.

£20 will buy a warm coat and shoes from a charity shop
