People with cancer have been amongst the most vulnerable throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Research shows that the impact of the pandemic could equate to 18,000 additional deaths from cancer over the coming year alone. It is predicted that it will take the UK a minimum of five years for survival rates to return to 2019 levels.
