In these unprecedented times, we find ourselves in desperate need of your support & investment to enable us to continue to serve the community of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas with a unique educational facility here in the city.
We are rated an overall Good rating by OFSTED in the most recent two inspections (most recent was an unannounced visit in Feb 2020) with some areas achieving outstanding. Our ambition remains to reach an overall Outstanding rating.
There is a demand for use to provide secondary education here at the school and we were close to completion.
We have a total of £220,000 to pay to secure this unique building and we urgently need to raise £40,000 to ensure we can continue to run and maintain the school.

Background
Portsmouth is located along the south coast of England and over the years has become the home to a vibrant Muslim community. There was a growing demand by parents and support from the community for a Muslim faith school in Portsmouth as there was none in the city or surrounding area.
We sought to find a property that would serve us initially as a small primary school but provide the means to expand the primary school as well as establish secondary, nursery schools and facilities for the community.
Alhamdulilah we found a 3658 sqm property, an ex-council site that contained a 3-floor building with an area of 1000 sqm. Additionally there was a car park and space for outdoor play areas.
The total cost of the building was £750,000. We were able to purchase the building paying an initial payment of £300,000 and at the remaining to be paid over a number of years . We now have £220,000 to repay.
