Story

Hospiscare Heroes Take on the Challenge of a Lifetime

On 2 November 2024 an intrepid team of Hospiscare Heroes will be setting out on a trek of a lifetime to Machu Picchu! The route follows ancient and remote Salkantay trail, where snow-capped mountains collide with lush tropical rain forests. Off the beaten path, this trek is one of the most interesting and challenging ways to experience the land of the ancient Incas. As well as putting their best foot forward in order to help raise vital funds for Hospiscare, theyll also spend time volunteering with a community project in the Sacred Valley.

During this difficult time, Hospiscare are working harder than ever to ensure people in need of our specialist palliative and end-of-life care receive it. We're a vital part of the local healthcare system - our expert doctors and nurses care for around 2,500 terminally ill patients every year, supporting families through some of the hardest times in their lives. Although we can't change a terminal diagnosis, we want to stand by the side of our community, now and in the future.

But we can only do this with your help.

So please, do something incredible. Show your support, donate today and make a difference!
