Story
Beginning my first academic session in 1993-94, little did I know that a thirty-year journey would follow. My personal journey has been marked by a tapestry of experiences with colleagues, administrators, students, and parents whose values have been rooted in faith and service and whose commitment to education has been immeasurable.
My relationship with the Meagan Bebenek Foundation has served to cement the commitment in extending our collective work outside of the classroom and our 20-year work for pediatric brain tumour research has been a cause dear to our DEL community.
To honour the transformative power of our Lasallian education I celebrate my milestone by saying thank you and by walking with those who walked with me throughout my 30 years and to raise funds equally for De La Salle College bursaries and for the MBF foundation.
Please join me as I celebrate my 30 years in education as I walk 30K to raise 30K as I retrace my morning commute by foot from Vaughan to DEL.
Below is additional information on the causes all money raised will go to support:
Meagan Bebenek Foundation:
