Organised by LYME REGIS ROTARYTHE LYME LUNGE - a New Year’s Day Fancy Dress dip in the balmy waters of Lyme Bay. People come from far and wide to TAKE THE PLUNGE AT THE LUNGE and raise funds for our charities. This year we support "The Alzheimer's Society" & "Asthma + Lung UK".

Visit the charity's profileFrom its humble beginnings in 2009 when just 50 people TOOK THE PLUNGE AT THE LUNGE to 2023 when we recorded over 850 LUNGERS the Lyme Lunge has grown in popularity and become a fixed feature of the Lyme Regis calendar. Run by The Rotary Club of Lyme Regis we have raised over £35000 for various charities as well as provided such great fun for so many people.
