Participants will take on Yorkshires biggest and loudest half and full marathon in aid of the Foundation which delivers programmes across the city of Leeds to all members of the community.
The Leeds United Foundation is the official charity for Leeds United Football Club. Part of the Leeds family, the charity aims to use the power of sport to educate, motivate, inspire and support people throughout the local Leeds community - a catalyst to improve peoples lives. There is a fantastic group of staff that work tirelessly on the programmes, helping to change and positively impact lives.
Over the past year, 69,984 participants have been involved in our twenty-five different programmes – providing more than 500,000 hours of activity. Just over half of our activity focuses on sports and participation for all; disabled football, walking football, grassroots youth teams, our elite girl’s academy and the school holiday activities we run across Leeds. The Foundation spends over a quarter of their time in Primary and Secondary schools – supporting with education, attendance, employability and of course physical activity. Further programmes include a range of health and wellbeing activities and projects for both children and adults in and around the Leeds area.
This is only possible through the generosity and the thoughtful contributions from people like you.
Inspired by our community, we march together to support health, wellbeing, education and sports participation for all.
