Story

A much loved RDA pony attacked whilst out in the field.

Lucky, a 12 year old pony, who works with disabled children at Avon Riding Centre in Bristol, was found with a deep incision under her tail which required stitches and will need ongoing veterinary care and rehabilitation. The incident has affected Lucky, who is much quieter than normal. The staff and volunteers at Avon Riding Centre are ensuring she has lots of attention but also allowing her space to rest and recover.

The Centre do not wish to share any photographs of Lucky's wound as they are quite graphic and very unpleasant. The incident has been reported to the police.

Avon Riding Centre is a registered charity (281648) and additional costs such as these do have a knock on effect to the services that the Centre are able to offer. Raising funds to cover vets fees can go a long way in helping not just Lucky but the other horses at the Centre.

Please note: Any additional funds raised will be going towards the vets fees for all of the horses at Avon Riding Centre.
