Story
Join us on October 12th from 5:00-6:00 PM at the Brian Clough Statue, Nottingham for the One Love Singalong, a powerful community event as part of Himmah’s Love Nottingham, No Place for Hate campaign. This gathering is a response to the rise in Islamophobia and racially motivated hate crimes in our city. Through unity and music, we will stand together to promote love, equality, and justice.
At the event, thousands will sing Bob Marley’s "One Love" to show solidarity and raise funds for the launch of Race Equality Justice Nottingham, an initiative that will raise awareness, advocacy, research and campaigning for racial justice in Nottingham. Community leaders will share inspiring speeches, and attendees will have opportunities to contribute through donations, food stalls, and merchandise.
This event is more than just a singalong—it’s a stand against hate and division. By joining us, you are helping to create a Nottingham where everyone is respected, valued, and safe. Together, we can push back against hate and build a city grounded in love and justice.
