The Long Riston Playing Fields Committee are the custodians of all the facilities that we hope many residents far and wide are able to enjoy.

Our spaces include

1. Modern pavilion with changing rooms and showers, and kitchen.

2. All weather tennis courts x 3

3. Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), with basketball and football nets

4. Large new playpark with 14 pieces of high quality play equipment

5. Toddler area (in planning for a refurbishment funds allowing)

6. Football pitches , with professional drainage allowing local football teams to thrive (currently in the process of securing significant funds of to improve the fields)

7. Additional grassed areas for recreational use

8. Car parking with disabled bays on site.

9. We also provide space for the village hall.

The committee are actively raising funds to onward develop the site, and as such you will have seen improvements over the last few years, in fact since the 1990s the committee have raised over 400,000 pounds.

Our aim is to provide some of the best facilities in our area, and we deliver these through a small dedicated team.

We wish not only to enhance these, but we also have to maintain and keep the facilities safe to use.

Due to funding cuts this year, we need to raise an addition £3,000 to ensure we can keep the facilities open and in use, this is in addition to other works we have planned to improve the facilities.
