Story

The money raised through the Lollipop Fund helps support the Willow Ward (Children's Ward) at Darent Valley Hospital, and Paediatric Services at the Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust.

Money raised has helped to introduce a Childrens High Dependency Unit with a range of expensive specialist equipment to care for seriously ill children. We have been able to purchase sensory equipment to help aid recovery, and play equipment for the Ward garden that is accessible for children of all abilities.

Charitable funds are used to help enhance the Ward environment, and the Children's Resources Centre (Children's Outpatients) and Paediatric A&E. We have also been able to support the Epilepsy Support Group deliver a calendar of activities.

We work closely with our Play Specialists to deliver projects that benefits a child's well-being, as well as investing in the latest equipment to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions.

We are so proud to be able to offer so much more than we could provide through the NHS budget alone.

Thank you for your continued support!
