Story
This July will be the first time, since 2006 that a group from Calday Grange Grammar School has not physically been to South Africa to work, and play with the children who live there. Instead we are inviting you to join us in our journey there during Lockdown! Either join us in running, cycling or walking, during your daily hour of exercise or by sponsoring someone else who is. Whatever your target, however big or small your donation, we are sure this will be a wonderfully positive way to come together.
LIV Lanseria diligently work towards creating a better future for the youth in their midst and persevere by continually facilitating the programmes set in place to feed around 3000 children per day, constructively keeping these kids busy after school hours and during holidays and also creating a safe environment for the orphaned and vulnerable kids in their care.
Due to Lockdown, however, they are unable to support these vulnerable children in the ways they normally would. Lockdown also means that there are now many more in their communities who are struggling. Not being able to work, means many adults are unable to afford food. Not being able to go to school, means many children are not receiving the daily meal they rely on. Not having access to running water, means many struggle to simply wash their hands according to the guidelines set out around the world.
Please help us in raising funds to cover these additional needs.
