Story
The mission of East Anglian Air Ambulance is to save lives 24/7 by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to seriously ill or injured people in our region. This life-saving charity receives no regular government funding and is only kept operational thanks to its incredible supporters.
As the East Anglian Air Ambulance is such a vital service, we at the Lap of Anglia wish to keep the Helicopter, Doctors and Paramedics in the sky for as long as possible.
The Lap of Anglia is very proud that our event has to date raised over £233,000 since starting in 2013.
Our Event for 2024
Day 1 Norwich to Ipswich
Day 2 Ipswich to Luton
Day 3 Luton to Kings Lynn
Day 4 Kings Lynn to Norwich
Each night we stay in a hotel. The last night in Kings Lynn we have arranged a meal all together as a large group. Some hotels have a swimming pool to cool down after the days cycling before joining your fellow Lappers in the hotel bar for stories of downhill bravery and uphill heroics. Hot breakfast is included to set you up for the day ahead.
