Story
LNER launched their partnership with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) in October 2018. CALM are taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling rubbish, standing up to stereotypes, and standing together to show life is always worth living.
CALM do this by provoking conversation, running life-saving services, and bringing people together so they reject living miserably, get help when they need it and dont die by suicide.
Your support will enable CALM to save lives. This is how:
> We run a free helpline 0800 585858 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) for anyone who needs to talk about life's problems. The service is confidential, anonymous and staffed by trained professionals.
> We provide bereavement support through the Support After Suicide Partnership.
> www.theCALMzone.net is CALM's website. It hosts inspiring content alongside information and support.
> We run successful campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and mental health, including #ManDictionary, #DontBottleItUp and #Project84
CALM's helpline and webchat services directly prevented 556 suicides in 2020.
Our goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for everyone.
