Story
On the 6th April our team will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on behalf of children with NKH, because one in three children born with NKH are unlikely to see their first birthday - and we want to change that.
Non-ketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH) is a life limiting neuro metabolic disorder. A child with severe NKH is likely to be profoundly disabled, with a lot of pain and brain damage. There is no cure or effective treatment - yet! The Mikaere Foundation is working to change the outcome for children born with NKH.
Please help us in raising much needed funds, so we can change the outcome for children born with NKH. Thank you for your support!
