The LinkAble playground provides a safe place for children with learning disabilities to play outside all year round. Our specially trained staff ensure that all children can enjoy the space, regardless of their disabilities or needs.

With lots of fun and engaging equipment to choose from, the children we support enjoy hundreds of happy hours every year playing on our climbing frame, slide, monkey bars and outdoor musical instruments!

This area has seen a lot of use since it was installed in 2013, and it now needs to be repaired.

How the funds will be used

Two areas of flooring need replacing to ensure our children can enjoy the space for years to come. By replacing these two areas now, we can pay a lower cost of £1750. This is rather than the £7000 it would cost to have the whole area resurfaced if we left it to degrade further.

Who we are

At LinkAble we are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism to live joyful and purpose-driven lives.

From our specially adapted centre in Woking, we support nearly 200 children, teens and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism every year.

Our groups offer people a place to feel safe and comfortable being themselves, with room to grow and develop at their own pace.

We believe that all disabled people should have the same opportunity as their non-disabled peers to learn new skills, make friends and have fun.
