Story
Lilly-Mae is a beautiful and fun 7 year old little girl.
Lilly's journey started at just 4 days old with her first visit to hospital. Just a week after her first birthday, Lilly-mae had her first seizure while out with her nana and auntie, this lead to her second hospital admission. At this point doctors thought the seizure was caused by heat. Until two weeks later when Lilly had her second seizure which lasted a terrifying 45 mins! After this seizure Lilly-Mae was diagnosed with epilepsy and was in and out of hospital many times following seizures.
Since then Lilly-Mae has also been diagnosed with Autism, Micro Philly head hyper-mobility and learning difficulties. Lilly is still in nappies and is non-verbal which means life can be very overwhelming and frustrating for her at times. This causing her to sometimes lash out and throw things.
Lilly-Mae's family are fundraising to build a safe sensory room for Lilly Mae to play in and express herself in a safe way.
Any support would be greatly appreciated.
