The Life University Women’s Wrestling team is dedicated to chasing excellence in everything we do, but our team prides itself on doing things differently.
Our team is built of young women of all different backgrounds, experience levels, and walks of life. You don’t have to be the best in the world to be a part of this team, a desire to belong is all that it takes, a unique thing in a sport that hasn’t always been supported. In 2022, the NAIA adopted women’s wrestling as the 28th championship sport, and in 2020, the NJCAA recognized women’s wrestling as an emerging sport. Now, women’s wrestling is the fastest-growing sport in the country, but we still have a long way to go.
Everything the team does is centered around love, honor, and joy: a love for what we do and each other; honoring the work that we do and the people who helped us get here; finding joy in chasing our dreams together. This is no easy feat which is why we need your help. With rising travel costs and the need for new equipment, we’re calling on our supporters to help us meet our $8,000 goal for our first annual Life U Women’s Wrestling What’s Next Fundraiser. Why What’s Next? Because we’re constantly searching for and conquering what’s next. The next meet. The next championship. The next team to build on the legacy of the greatness we have created together.
Please consider supporting our amazing women’s wrestling program during our What’s Next Fundraiser with a contribution or by sharing our fundraiser with your network. Thank you!
