Story
We created Life Lines because we have seen first-hand families, patients and NHS staff suffering due to restrictions on visiting during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Through Life Lines, we can help families communicate with their loved ones in intensive care, helped by our NHS heroes who are caring for them. Life Lines can provide tablet devices, secure online platform, technical support and 4G connectivity to NHS hospitals to connect families of critically ill patients isolated due to Covid-19, with support from NHS clinical teams so they can ask questions in a secure, safe and dignified environment.
We have already provided more than 800 tablets to intensive care units in 140 hospitals across the UK.
But we need to do more.
Your donation will help ensure a 4G-enabled device is delivered to an NHS Intensive Care Unit within days.
All partners across NHS, universities and industry are providing goods and services at cost price or less.
Any donations you can give will help connect families, patients and NHS staff.
For every £500 we raise we can provide a tablet, software and 4G connectivity for 12-months to an NHS hospital.

Donations are being made to Kings College London which is an exempt charity under the Charities Act. Donations to this project can be Gift Aided. Funds will be spent through Kings Health Partners for the exclusive use of the Life Lines project. If the final amount donated exceeds the initial requirement for devices, funds will be used for the same purpose in future months and years.
