Story
Many survivors of childhood cancer will experience long-term side effects as a result of their treatment, which may not show until several years after treatment is finished.
There are a number of side effects from cancer treatment, such as heart problems, poor memory, and secondary cancers. These are known as late effects.
CCLG's Life After Childhood Cancer Research Fund will support research into these 'late effects' and the other problems facing childhood cancer survivors.
When you make a donation or raise funds for the Life After Childhood Cancer Research Fund, 100% of your donation supports research into late effects of childhood cancer and other issues affecting childhood cancer survivors.
Our Research Funds are part of our exciting plans to fund and support pioneering research into cancers affecting children, teenagers and young adults. You can find out more about the research we fund on our website.
