Cannabis reforms are accelerating across the globe. Now it’s time for the UK!

For more than twenty years, Transform has been a trailblazer in the global efforts to responsibly legalise and regulate recreational cannabis. We’ve been at the forefront, playing an instrumental role in shaping cannabis regulations worldwide. We have advised governments in Canada, Germany, Malta, Luxembourg, Uruguay and Mexico.

Cannabis reform is now happening on every continent. Today we have a real opportunity to achieve a legalised and regulated cannabis market here in the UK, and crucially, to get it right. We need cannabis reforms to protect our young people, prioritise health and social justice, and to reduce crime.

To achieve this change we need your support. We are launching a crowdfunder to raise £50,000 to help support our work to bring responsible cannabis regulation to the UK.

We are an independent charity. We receive no government funding and never accept money from the industries which stand to profit from a legal cannabis market.

How are we going to do this?

With your donation, we will be able to run a major UK campaign for recreational cannabis reform.

With public opinion shifting towards support of cannabis regulation, we will take this issue to the people and policymakers. Building on more than two decades of UK and global expertise, we will work directly with the policy and law makers who can make this happen.

Your generous donation will allow us to:

Work with key experts and impacted communities, to produce a detailed vision for how cannabis should be responsibly regulated for adult use in the UK, supported by a roadmap for how to deliver it.

Produce groundbreaking new analysis that will lay out the economic opportunities of a regulated cannabis market for the UK, both cost savings and tax revenues. We will ensure it receives the attention of the new Government, as well as the wider public.

Increase positive media coverage and public understanding of cannabis reforms.

Analyse global cannabis reforms and learn lessons for the UK on what’s worked, and what hasn’t. Build cross party support in Parliament, promoting and informing debate in both houses, in all party groups, and in select committees, as well as developing a Private Members Bill to serve as a rallying point for reform in Westminster
