Story
The Syrian civil war has resulted in conflict and violence. Millions of innocent people have been caught up in a fight that is not their own, causing devastating consequences and changing blameless lives forever. The most vulnerable members of society are at the greatest risk women, children, and the elderly.
The ongoing crisis has left millions of Syrians with no choice but to flee their families and their homes, with millions more displaced and left to fend for their lives. Since the onset of the Syrian civil in March 2011, over one million Syrian refugees have fled to Lebanon.
Muslim Charity has been active on the ground in Lebanon since the conflict started. We have supported Syrian refugees through emergency food, medical aid, supporting orphans and widows as well as schools and hospitals.
#TEAMMC volunteers will be on the grounds to help support our brothers and sisters in Lebanon with your Duas, donations and support. This tour will give participants an opportunity to work alongside the ground team in distributing aid in the Arsal refugee camp, visiting and supporting a school and meeting orphans that we sponsor as part of the tour.
