Story
The Syrian civil war has resulted in conflict and violence. Millions of innocent people have been caught up in a fight that is not their own, causing devastating consequences and changing blameless lives forever. The most vulnerable members of society are at the greatest risk women, children, and the elderly.
The ongoing crisis has left millions of Syrians with no choice but to flee their families and their homes, with millions more displaced and left to fend for their lives. Since the onset of the Syrian civil in March 2011, over one million Syrian refugees have fled to Lebanon.
Muslim Charity has been active on the ground in Lebanon since the conflict started. We have supported Syrian refugees through emergency food, medical aid, supporting orphans and widows as well as schools and hospitals.
Through our local partner on the ground, Muslim Charity is delivering much needed emergency packs consisting of staple food, bread and drinking water to the affected families in Beirut. Families are in need of financial aid to restart their lives, those who have lost basic amenities need financial aid to secure everyday items for their children and other family members.
