Story
Sensory toys and equipment are essential tools for creating a calming and motivating environment where children and young people can thrive. At Learning Space, we are proud to partner with Family Fund to provide these important resources to families in need. Through our collaboration, we have helped over 20,000 families access sensory equipment and toys through grants provided by Family Fund.
The sensory toys from Family Fund make a huge difference. They arrived just before Christmas, so I wrapped up all their sensory toys for Christmas Day and it was just fantastic. I could never have afforded it. Olivia uses them to regulate herself.

Family Fund believes that all families raising disabled and seriously ill children should have the same opportunities as others. With our grants and services, we aim to help break down many of the barriers these families face, improving their quality of life and easing the additional daily pressures.

Why we're fundraising
Life is especially challenging for low-income families raising a disabled or seriously ill child. With the demands of round-the-clock care, many parents are unable to work, facing additional expenses for essential items and support. This constant struggle can take a toll on their mental health and wellbeing.
We’ve seen first-hand how transformative Family Fund grants can be, making a significant difference in the lives of families. This experience has inspired us to continue raising funds to ensure even more families can benefit from grant support. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Family Fund so they can help as many families as possible receive the items they need to create positive and nurturing environments for their children.
