St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire)

Leap Year Hero 2024

At St Michael's we need to raise £14,000 per day to run the Hospice, which includes our end-of-life care. With February having an additional day this year, and costs still rising, we are looking for Leap Year Heroes to help raise these extra costs.

Story

Will you be a Leap Year hero?

Hospice care is essential, yet we receive less than 16% statutory funding and, as a result, need to raise an additional £14,000 per day to keep our doors open.

Our services include pain-controlling medication and vital round-the-clock care within our In-patient Unit (IPU) and in the community through our Hospice at Home team, as well as continuing to be there for families after the death of a loved one with our specialist bereavement support.

With February having an extra day this year, will you be a Leap Year hero and help us pay for an extra day of vital care?

With every donation and each pound that is given to us, we get one step closer to reaching the £14,000 goal and will help fund the Hospice for an additional day. We are extremely grateful for your continued support; and with your generosity we can continue to provide the specialist care our patients and their families need.

Be a Leap Year hero and help us to hit that £14,000 target by Thursday 29 February.

A huge thank you to Festival Place for arranging a collection on Sunday the 11th February, lead by Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers!

Together they helped us raise £573.82!!!

Thank you to our incredible St. Michael's shops who together have raised £341.37
