1 in 8 babies require neonatal care due to being born early or sick, but it's not just the babies who need caring for, it's the parents, the siblings and the grandparents too.

At Leo's, we take care of the full family, because we've been sat where they are, we have lived, and are still living the neonatal journey and know what it takes to care for these families.

Our team offers an expansive selection of support for families, including peer support, counselling, EMDR to treat PTSD, pregnancy support, specialised neonatal baby massage and yoga, specialised swimming, community sensory play, home visits, New Born Behavioural Observations, advocacy, sensory based yoga for older neonatal graduates and much more.

We are the only charity in the region offering this level of in depth support to the neonatal community.

Leo's covers the North East of England, and our provision costs in excess of £100,000 a year to run, but we cannot do that without the support of fundraisers, the local community and our funders.

On 9/7/23 families who have been supported by Leo's neonatal are coming together to bravely take part in #leapforleos in order to raise money to help more families like themselves.

Please note some of the funds raised will be used to fund the skydives, the remainder will be reinvested into the families we support!
