Story
WHO are we?
We are a team of 15 from St Peter's who are involved in the Leadership Development Year and Safehaven ministries for the homeless.
LDY is a year-long Christian leadership programme which equips participants in effective leadership in both Christian and secular contexts.
WHAT are we doing?
We will be spending 2-weeks in Hong Kong to live with The St Stephen's Society and serve in their outreach to the poor, those struggling with addictions and other challenges.
St Stephen's Society runs several programmes, including a rehabilitation centre originally set up by Jackie Pullinger. It currently houses and supports 200-300 individuals struggling with varying addictions with the aim that guests will leave healed, restored and better equipped to go out and live a life of meaning and purpose.
