Until the day everything changes and you're removed from your home and placed with a new family in a new home and school. You know you're safer, but that doesn't make it any easier or less scary.
Thankfully, your'e placed with caring foster parents who offer you the unconditional love, stability and support you need to heal. You begin to feel safe and have hope for your future.
During the pandemic, the number of foster children in care grew significantly, but the number of foster families available to give these children a safe, loving home has not. We need your help!
During the week of June 27, we need YOU to Let Your Light Shine on foster children! Your support can help us recruit and support more foster families for all children, but especially for harder to place children, such as sibling groups, teens and those requiring specialized services.
