Story
Haematology Cancer Care supporters are walking in our annual London Bridgathon to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. The London Bridgathon is our flagship fundraising event, attracting over 400 patients, families, staff and supporters and is a four or eight mile walk along the Thames crossing five bridges all in aid of HCC.
Over the last 25 years patients and staff have been choosing to support Haematology Cancer Care because we help the Haematology Service deliver transformational treatment and personalised care at UCLH. We have a strong community of patients, families and staff committed to supporting haematological cancers through fundraising activities and events. Uniquely, we are run by senior clinical staff working closely with all haematology teams and haematology patients ensuring donations make a significant impact on the services here at UCLH. We provide wide-ranging support including high-tech medical equipment and research projects, free complementary therapy for patients and families and specialist education for nurses across five inpatient wards, day-care, ambulatory care and young adult and outpatient services.
This year, as we celebrate 25 years, we are inviting UCLH Charity to come and walk with us.
