SADAQAH JARIYAH
Once a loved one passes away one way you can keep their memory, show acknowledgment of gratitude, respect or admiration by donating in their name. Giving in someone's memory is a very special and meaningful way to remember them honouring their life and helping others at the same time. Sending them a gift that increases their wealth in the hereafter continuously.
Sadaqah Jariyah means a continuous and ongoing charity. It is one of the most fruitful good deeds we can do in our lives as the benefits can be reaped now, and we can continue to benefit after we have passed.
When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous child who prays for him (for the deceased). (Muslim)
