Our community fridge brings people together to share food, meet up and prevent fresh food from going to waste. It is open to all and anyone can share or take food, including surplus from supermarkets, local food businesses, producers, households and gardens. Our Community Fridge is run by volunteers and is open every Friday afternoon between 3 and 4.
Your donation will help us purchase food from Fareshare (https://fareshare.org.uk/), an organisation that collects quality surplus food from across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,000 frontline charities and community groups. It will also help us collect from local shops and producers ourselves.
