Land, Sea, Air - at Parkview we care
Land Sea Sky - watch us walk, swim or fly
The staff, parents and pupils of Parkview Special School are taking on individual challenges this June, to raise much needed funds for Friends of Parkview - The charity that supports the school.
Our challenge will begin with:
WALK:
Andrew Gordon from the EEC staff team will be walking 26.2 miles around the School MUGA - yes - an entire marathon!!! This will take place on Saturday 22nd June.
Pupils at the school will then aim to complete a sponsored 26 laps of the MUGA to show their support for Andrews Marathon efforts - This will take place between Monday 17th - Friday 21st June.
SWIM:
Fancy a cold water dip? brrrrrrr - not for the faint hearted but staff have set themselves the challenge of a swim in Moira Lakes on Saturday 15th June from 10-11am. Will you be joining them?
RUN:
Staff have been invited to take on either the Lisburn half marathon, 10K or Fun Run. We would encourage as many families as possible to join staff for thius event which takes place on Wednesday 19th June from 7-9pm
FLY:
A tandem skydive felt the appropriate way to finish our challenge. This is scheduled for Saturday 22nd June (weather permitting) and we'd love to see as many supporters on the ground to greet our willing fundraisers as they float back down to earth.
