Story
In 2021, the Lancashire Red Rose Responding Fund was established by the Community Foundation for Lancashire in response to an increasing demand for help to support the mental health and well-being of many people, of all ages and backgrounds, particularly those most vulnerable, throughout Lancashire.
Initially focusing on the impact of Covid-19, and more recently addressing the pressures of the cost-of-living crisis, our aim is to respond to those issues effecting our communities, which prevent people from living healthy, fulfilling lives, in order to help them achieve their potential.
The Lancashire Red Rose Responding Fund has so far invested over £360,000 of funding, in total, received from LBV, Swansway Group, Nybble, Marsden Building Society, NORI HR, Fred Mill Trust, East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Lancashire County Council and the W O Street Foundation. This funding has helped 78 groups to have a positive impact on the mental health and wellbeing of 8,835 individual lives to date.
By the end of 2024 we would like to reach £500,000.
Can you help us make a difference?
