Story
*Sat 28th March 2020: Thank you so much to everyone for helping us reach our initial target of £2,000. This will enable us pay for the animal food, bedding, medication, the farrier, incubators and a little bit of maintenance around the side for a whole month!! We are overwhelmed by the support we have received and didn't expect to reach our target in 3 days so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It is looking like we will be on lockdown for another month or even two, so we are now trying to raise this amount again and have we have increased the target to £5,000. Please donate what you can and keep sharing the campaign. Only together can we get Lambourne End through this.*
Covid-19 is placing a huge pressure on small charities like ourselves. It's usually the busiest time in our calendar year, but conversely, we are facing a significant financial loss and we have now closed the gates to reduce our costs to a minimum and give us the best chance of survival (as of 24th March 2020).
With significant overhead costs associated with the farm animals, many of whom are due to give birth in the coming weeks, and our beautiful 54 acre site to look after, we are entering a period of great uncertainty. We need your help to fund essential costs such as animal food, farm bills and the necessary overhead costs to see the Centre through the next few weeks and months.
Any financial assistance you are able to provide to help us get through this challenging time would be very gratefully received. Thank you <3
