21 of our dear MUSKORTEERS from Derby will be doing a sponsored charity hike up Ben Nevis on Sunday 4th Oct 2020 in memory of and as a form of Sadaqa-e-Jariyah (continuous charity) for Mohammed Musa Akbar who departed this temporary life last year at the young age of 12. (May Allah Almighty raise his rank In Jannah, Ameen)

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. Standing at 1,345 metes above sea level, it is at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands, close to the town of Fort William.

Mohammed Musa was passionate about football as well as other sports and would spend every spare moment during breaks on the football courts. It is befitting that in his name, other less fortunate children can have similar privileges as Mohammed Musa did at his school in Derby UK (Landau Forte College). The design of the courts are based on the courts at his school and will be fitted with a similar artificial grass surface.

Construction work is ongoing for the facilities that will incorporate a football court, basketball court, tennis court as well as a mini cricket stadium.

100% of donations of all donations will go towards the Sports Complex at the KORT Educational Complex in Akhtarabad, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.
